HARRINGAY WINE NIGHTS

Harringay crew, we had such a ball back in March at Harringay Wine Night, we have decided to make it a monthly bash.

One SATURDAY every MONTH, we’ve invited some of the city’s funkiest, knowledgeable and classy wine folk to run the bar while we serve you pizzas.

They’ll taking over the wine list for the night and serving you some of their most exclusive and tasty pours by the glass and bottle.

First up with we have our long-time pals PROVISIONS on SATURDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER. We’ve been providing these guys bread for over ten years, so it seems only right they would kick us off.  

PROVISIONS have two beautiful gaffs on Hackney Road and Holloway. They work with organic/biodynamic and natural winemakers and have handpicked some of the best bottles across Europe. Nathan from PROVISIONS will chat through the best bottles for you and your table.

Prepare for some engaging grapes and tannins chat, sizzling DK pizza menu, starters and desserts all night long.

If feels pretty grown up for us to be throwing monthly wine nights (we’re a bakery!) but these night have been such good vibes and we’ve made loads of new mates on the way…so we’re going for it!

On arrival:

Aperitif

Pigs in blankets, olives, warm bread and butter/olive oil and zaatar

Starters

Chicken liver pate w/ sweet, pickled cucumber & toast

Pink peppercorn cured salmon, herb & caper salad, fenugreek seed labneh. Rye toast.

Chicory, radicchio, date, mint, feta & spiced hazelnut salad

Mains – Sharing

Lemon, fennel, garlic & chestnut, porchetta w/ quince jam

Cep, leek, walnut & stilton pie

Sides:

Buttered mash, charred sprout tops, brandy chestnuts

Dessert

Chocolate & coffee mousse

Cardamom and saffron poached pears with vegan crème fraiche and brandy snap

Mince pie, Crème fraiche and Vecchia Romagna brandy
